Welcome to Finger Lakes Ethnobotany.  This site is a resource for learning about plants and their various uses and values for people: medicinal and edible qualities, uses for crafts and survival, and their ecology.

Forthcoming:  in 2012 we plan to offer a series of walks exploring the various representative plant communities found in the Finger Lakes region.

We also are putting together a distance-learning course on exploring the trees and woody plants of our bioregion.

Bookmark us and check back often, or send us an email to be put on our mailing list.  Thanks for visiting!
